FAQ

How can I book my reservation? I can't find your booking.

At this time I require new guests to fill out my New Guest Digital Consultation Form before gaining access to my booking system. This form will guide you through how to book, what to book, and give me all the deetz on what you're looking to achieve to make sure we're a great fit.
It will take you less than 5 minutes to fill out and will keep us from having to play email tag!
Where do I park and when do I walk in?

Street parking is available directly in front of the studio and is the most convenient option. Because Cultivated Studio is a private, one-on-one space, there isn’t a waiting room. When you arrive, I kindly ask that you remain in your car until your appointment time. I’ll come out to greet you and walk you into the studio so we can begin your experience together.
Why do I need to upload a photo in the New Guest Profile?

I know you've heard that old saying, "A picture is worth a thousand words", and in this case it's worth even more. Everyone sees color and length differently, what is short to you may be medium length to me, so to ensure that we start off on the right foot seeing photos of your hair from different sides in natural lighting is a necessity. Don't stress over showing your face or if you're hair isn't styled, its no biggie!
Can I have your dog in my reservation?

YES! Just ask and a fluffy doggy with be brought in with lots of love to give and maybe some drool.
Should I be tipping?

Hairstylists are a part of the service industry- taking great pride in offering a hospitable, professional service. It’s customary to tip anywhere from 15 to 25 percent of the total service amount, depending on your experience and satisfaction. You are, of course, not obligated to provide any tip, but all stylists are greatly appreciative of your gratuity as a reflection of your happiness with their work
Where do I go to the bathroom?
Restrooms are located inside the house and are always available for guest use.

Polices
Wondering about the details? These policies are in place to support clear communication, mutual respect, and a thoughtful experience for both guest and stylist — helping every visit feel smooth, relaxed, and well cared for.

CANCELLATION POLICY
I get it, that sometimes things come up and you may need to cancel or reschedule. I kindly ask if you give 48 hours in advance notice so that I’m able to fill the time for another guest. If it is a same-day cancellation, the system will automatically charge you 50% of the service to protect the time of your stylist.
REDOS
If you are having challenges with your cut or color, please let me know within 7 days of your visit and I’m happy to correct the issue with no additional charge! That being said, not achieving desired final results in one session, if it has been discussed in the consultation that it will require multiple sessions, does not constitute for a “re-do”.
NO SHOWS
Life happens — and yes, this is mendable. When an appointment is missed without notice or cancelled the day of, it leaves time that can’t be filled and directly impacts the studio. To honor that time, a fee of 50% of the scheduled service total is required before a new appointment can be booked.
LATE POLICY
I'm going to be 20 minutes late- is that okay?

In efforts to keep everyone's schedule moving somewhat according to plan, we do enforce a 15 minute tardy policy. If you will be over 15 minutes behind to your scheduled start time, I respectfully require you to reschedule.
